Art
Welcome to the Oaklawn Art classroom! Across all grades, we explore our world through observation, experimentation, critical and creative thinking. We will be making connections to our community and across other disciplines through artmaking. Through these classes, students will learn vocabulary connected to the elements and principles of design, how to present and discuss art work through a critical lens, a variety of art careers and skills; while, keeping in mind classroom safety at all times. It is my belief that the Art Room is where all the disciplines come to play, and that is where students learn best.
