Dear Families and Staff,
Thank you for your patience as we navigated cleanup efforts following this week’s blizzard.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Cranston Public Schools will reopen for in-person learning on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the regular time.
Thanks to the hard work of our city crews and district facilities staff, our buildings will be ready to welcome students and staff. Bus drivers traveled their routes today to identify remaining safety concerns. We will communicate directly with those parents/guardians for bus routes that may continue to be impacted in order to facilitate alternate stop arrangements. Please make sure that sidewalks are cleared for students who are walkers.
Please note that parking may be limited, as large snowbanks occupy portions of the parking lots and drop-off areas. We encourage carpooling when possible, and we ask families and students who walk to use extra caution.
As always, please watch for communication from your school and the district should any changes become necessary.
