Welcome to Music!

Through movement, singing, chanting,  and playing instruments, our goal  in music education is  to build a strong foundation for our Oaklawn students to become musically literate and lifelong consumers of music.

Here at Oaklawn, students begin recorder in Grade 3 which carries through to Grade 5.  Students in Grade 5  also have the opportunity to play a band or string instrument.
